Make List. 2016 Edition.

I’ve compiled an on-going list of projects to work on for 2016. I was inspired by Justin Jackson’s piece, “Keep Making Stuff,” and figured I’d give it a shot and create my own list.

Let’s see how many I can check off the list for 2016:

  1. Publish a tutorial on Instructables.
  2. Create a jewelry display for my goodies.  1/20/2016.
  3. Publish an article on Medium.com. 8/30/2016 – Makerspace Organizers Recap!
  4. Use my Raspberry Pi and make something. 7/29/2016, a DIY Photobooth!
  5. Design and 3D print a pinhole camera.
  6. Pick a bead book and make every design in it.
  7. Cross stitch an ornament.
  8. Put together a quilt.
  9. Make a snap coin purse. 10/25/2016 – I finished the snap coin purse kit.
  10. Successfully complete a cross stitch.
  11. Establish an on-going program in Buffalo Lab.
  12. Put together a Makers conference.
  13. Make a tote bag. 11/02/2016 – I made a wine carrying tote bag.
  14. Learn how to make 1 article of clothing.
  15. Crochet an amigurumi.
  16. Knit something.
  17. Make a doily by tatting.
  18. Design and create a piece of statement jewelry.
  19. Create a website and design it from scratch.
  20. Fill an album with polaroids.
  21. Make an Advent Calendar.
  22. Start making desserts/treats.
  23. Upcycle an old piece of furniture.
  24. Create and start a photography blog.
  25. Set up a workshop plan for Buffalo Lab.
  26. Upload a piece of art on Dribbble.
  27. Make an animated gif.
  28. Make a bowl.
  29. Cook an all Asian-inspired meal.
  30. Make a Little Free Library.
  31. Indoor aquaponics project.
  32. Create an indoor mini succulent garden.
  33. Make a ukelele stand.
